Checklist #76, Section 9 Children (A). Yasuhiro Ishimoto, American per checklist, 18 x 12 1/4 cm. (Ishimoto, 1921-2012, was born in San Francisco, raised in Japan, and held dual biographical associations — US-born and Japan-based. MoMA records him as American here; later sources frequently describe him as Japanese-American.) First of two Ishimoto plates in the checklist range 48-100 (see also photo-0086 at checklist #104).
