First Hella Hammid plate in the checklist (a grep of data/photographs.csv this session returns no prior ‘Hammid’ photographer row). The canonical spelling of the photographer’s name has NOT been cross-verified against any fetched source this round; the surname is sometimes rendered ‘Hamid’ or ‘Hamlid’ in OCR/secondary sources, but the checklist as printed on PDF page 24 (read this session) renders it ‘Hella Hammid’ with double-m — preserved verbatim. The ‘Italy / American’ country/nationality split (i.e., American photographer working in Italy) is consistent with the catalog’s many cross-national plates. The PDF page 24 image (read this session) prints the entry verbatim as ‘468 Italy Hella Hammid, American 14 x 13 1/4’.
